Teaching backyard swim lessons for 20 years, I combine water safety and child development to make learning to swim a magical experience for hundreds of children.
We offer high-anxiety consultations for swimmers who need additional support in the water. If you would like a high-anxiety consultation with Emily, please let your instructor know. They will have a recommendation on next steps and will refer you to Emily for further guidance.

For children as young as 2 and a half, our intuitive approach to the process of learning to swim focuses on trust and safety. The pool is kept at a toasty 89 degrees all year long for maximum comfort.
We offer swim lessons for children as young as 2 and a half years old.
The pool is maintained at a comfortable 89 degrees all year round.
We recommend adult goggles for children over the age of 3 and child-sized goggles for those under 3.
There is only one child and one instructor in the pool at a time to ensure a quiet and focused experience.
